Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness,

for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

What could the people who are persecuting us possibly take from us - the Kingdom of Heaven is ours. When you seek to be righteous, to do God’s will, you will be persecuted.

Today is an opportunity to do God’s will regardless of what people say. When it’s tough to persevere, remember that because of what Christ has done for you, yours is the kingdom of Heaven.
